To register online or pay your balance: Click here to access our online registration site, ASAP. From here you may browse and select group classes and programs from our sidebar, or inquire about lessons for a particular instrument. Before checking out or submitting an inquiry, you will be asked to create an account. (Current students may already have an account - please use the "forgot your password" link on the login page to check if you have an account associated with your email address). You may choose to pay online during the checkout process with a valid credit card, or to "pay later" by check. Please note: Your registration is not complete until we receive payment. Click here for more detailed instructions about using our ASAP online registration site.

To register by mail: Please complete a registration form (available below) and return with your registration fee, applicable materials fees, and tuition payment either in person at 398 Concord Avenue, Belmont, by mail: P. O. Box 398, Belmont, MA 02478, or by email:

Registration is considered final with receipt of the $20 registration fee per semester per student (or $15 summer registration fee), any applicable materials fees, and, unless a payment plan has been arranged, receipt of the full invoice.

Current Students: Students currently attending Powers Music School will be eligible for pre-registration, which begins on May 15th and ends on June 30th. During this time, returning students are given the opportunity to reclaim their usual lesson time by either paying their tuition in full or enrolling in a monthly payment plan through a pre-registration email sent to the primary account holder. Current students who elect to be on monthly payment plans must pay the registration fee, payment plan fee, and deposit amount by June 30th. Students whose tuition payments are not received by June 30th will forfeit their regular lesson time and will incur a late registration fee of $25.

Returning students receive priority registration through June 30th, after which registration is open to the public.

New Students: A new student is considered to be enrolled when receipt of the registration fee, full tuition payment, and any applicable materials fees have been received and successfully processed, unless a monthly payment plan has been established. Registration without payment does not secure a student’s enrollment in private lessons and/or classes.

Trial lessons and meetings with our faculty are available upon request for a fee of $55 for 30 minutes (maximum of 1 trial lesson per teacher). Trial lessons/assessments with a music therapist are $75 for 30 minutes.

Students who register after the third lesson of a semester will be charged on a pro-rated basis; students who register within the first 3 weeks will not receive prorated tuition and will be given makeup lessons to account for any lessons missed.

Private lesson times arranged at registration are considered permanent for the academic year.

Registration fees are charged per student and cannot be waived.
