Pow-Wow is an innovative, hands-on introduction to violin, piano, music and movement, acting, group singing, and arts and crafts for children ages 5-11. This program is a unique opportunity for young children to experience total immersion in a musical environment. At the end of each session the children perform an operetta written by the faculty.
Registration begins in person on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 7:30 a.m. at 380 Concord Avenue and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Classes are Monday - Friday (no class on July 4)

REGISTRATION
- Class enrollment is limited to 28 Pow-Wow students and 2 CIT students per session.
- Each registration must be accompanied by full tuition unless submitting a financial aid
application.
- Some sessions will sell out on the first day! Registration WILL CONTINUE after March 3 based upon availability.
- Families with multiple children wishing to attend Pow-Wow program must include
a completed registration form for each child.
- No tuition discounts.
- Tuition and registration fee are non-refundable.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Each session lasts 2 weeks and will feature two different operettas.Sessions 1 and 4 will feature an operetta from a Brazilian story, and Sessions 2 and 3 will feature an operetta from a Native American story. Operettas are subject to change.
- Sessions 2 and 3 feature the extended day program from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Early release from these sessions is not available.
- The last two days of each session feature dress rehearsals.
- The final operetta performance takes place at 7:00 pm on the last day of each session.
- Students are placed into musical groups according to the age of the participants and
the level of the student's musical experience.
FINANCIAL AID

Completed financial aid applications for Pow-Wow students must be submitted on March 3rd, together with the completed registration form and $15 non-refundable registration fee (if applicable). Financial aid for the CIT program is also available. All requests for CIT financial aid must be received in the office no later than 6:00 pm on April 11, 2008.
