Keys for Kids®
Ages 4-8
Keys for Kids introduces children to ear training, rhythm, singing, solfege and keyboard performance in a small group setting. Parent/Caregiver participation at lessons is required. Both ensemble and semi-private classes are available. Keys for Kids is intended to be taken in consecutive semesters (for example, fall and spring, or spring and summer) to get the full benefits of the program.

Hi-Five Piano
Ages 5-6
In this introductory piano class, children will learn basic musical subjects (pitches, durations, dynamics, etc.), forms, music notes, keyboard geography, fingering, and notation through eurhythmics exercise and apply what they’ve learned to the xylophone and the piano. Children will learn not only how to play but also how to make their own music through improvisation activities. Hi-Five is intended to be taken in two consecutive semesters (for example, fall and spring, or spring and summer) to get the full benefits of the program, with the goal of learning the key skills to continue on to private piano lessons.

Piano Partners
Ages 6-9
Taking piano lessons with partners is a fun way to learn piano! This group piano class, designed for 2-4 students, is a great choice for young students who are ready to begin learning without parent participation, and to help them decide if piano is the right instrument before starting private lessons. Children will learn a repertoire of 10 songs in several keys, both major and minor, through a process of singing and playing, movement, notation games, drumming and much more. The book comes with 2 recordings: one for listening, one for practicing, which are available on CD or mp3 download.
