Dr. Greta Feeney is a performer, educator, and arts executive whose work focuses on stimulating intellectual curiosity, compassion, and aesthetic awareness through an interdisciplinary approach to learning and experiencing music of lasting value. She brings a rich and varied skill set as an opera singer, chamber musician, and music scholar to the stage and the boardroom, where her approach to leadership is grounded in the belief that fully embodied personal and organizational values manifest success.

As Executive Director of Nantucket Music Center, Dr. Feeney launched a comprehensive visibility campaign including collaboration in the development of a new logo, brand, and website to increase SEO performance and ROI efficiency, and successfully collaborated on NMC's 3-year strategic plan, focused on enhancing program diversity and inclusivity, creating new revenue streams and strategic partnerships, and reducing costs.

An internationally recognized opera singer, Dr. Feeney is a graduate of the Juilliard Opera Center and a participant in the Merola Program at the San Francisco Opera, where she was subsequently awarded the prestigious Adler Fellowship and a Schwabacher Debut Recital. Dr. Feeney's career with the San Francisco Opera spans 15 years and includes more than 25 opera productions, with main stage roles including Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Marzelline in Fidelio, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Despina in Cosi fan Tutte, Amanda in Le Grande Macabre, and the creation of the role of Marguerite in the world-premiere of Earthrise.

Dr. Feeney has performed as a soloist in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and the Herbst Theater in chamber music and symphonic engagements with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, the New Century Chamber Ensemble, and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra. She was a first place winner in the New York district and semi-finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, with additional awards from the Licia-Albanese Puccini Foundation, George London Foundation, and Koussevitsky Foundation.

Dr. Feeney has served on the music faculties of the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music, Bergen College, and the University of California, Santa Cruz, and holds degrees from the Mannes College of Music (BM), Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music (MM), and the State University of New York at Stony Brook (DMA). She currently serves on the faculties of Nantucket Music Center and was recently named Chair of the Voice Faculty at Powers Music School.
