Each year Powers creates a free musical fairy-tale concert that introduces children and families to musical storytelling. This year, Powers has selected the children's opera, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Seymour Barab. In this updated version of this classic story, the Queen gets her comeuppance with a happy ending. This narrated concert version of the opera features students from the Powers' Broadway Singers and Singing for Kids classes. Guest and faculty artists include: Natacha Rist on piano, Jessica Cooper as Snow White, Rob Woodin as the Huntsman and Prince and Powers' voice student Sophie Travis as the Queen.
