Powers' Musical Story Hour
ABOUT THE SERIES: Join Helen Clapp Stevenson, Executive and Artistic Director of Powers Music School, as she narrates this series of free musical story hours for the community. Each story hour will include great music and an age-appropriate story as well as an exploration of instruments. Children ages 2 to 5 years old are welcome to come with their parents/caregivers to enjoy this great interactive program that is held on select Fridays during the school year.
Friday, October 5, Helen Clapp Stevenson will narrate the first of four Powers Music Story Hours with accompaniment by, Natacha Rist on piano and Todd Brunel on clarinet. A retelling of the classic story Pied Piper of Hamelin, titled Road to Hamelin, will begin this series of free musical story hours for the community.
