Community Programs

Community Programs

Looking for something other than private instruction, group lessons, or an ensemble? Powers has much more to offer and truly has something for everyone!

We offer a variety of community and outreach programs throughout the year. Free programs all ages are sure to enjoy include Faculty Concerts, Musical Story Programs, and our annual Open House & Instrument Petting Zoo.

Come participate in the music-making or be an audience member at events like the Stein Chamber Music Festival and the Mildred Freiberg Piano Festival. Sing with others while accompanied by an orchestra at our popular Belmont Open Sings concerts.

Free Early Childhood Classes provide interested families the opportunity to explore how music can impact lives at a very young age.

And Audition Workshops and Competitions provide opportunities for artistic growth for students ages 10 - 39.
