Accompaniment
Mark McNeill is an accompanist at Powers Music School, where he performs alongside instrumental and vocal students of all ages. He is a graduate of Longy School of Music, where he earned a graduate performance diploma with distinction in collaborative piano with an emphasis in vocal accompaniment. After completing a Bachelor of Music degree summa cum laude in Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music, he returned to piano performance. He has attended "Songfest at Pepperdine" as a Stern Fellowship recipient in Malibu, CA, where he worked with Martin Katz, Graham Johnson, and Margo Garrett. Past recitals have taken him to Germany, Austria, Greece, and through the Northeast. In Boston, Mark has worked with Intermezzo, the New England Chamber Opera Series as assistant music director. He also has experience with both stage and musical directing, conducting and arranging for small orchestra, and audio recording/production. A native of Boston, he began studying piano at a very early age and attended the Boston Conservatory of Music preparatory program as a teenager. His current and past teachers include Brian Moll, Elena Roussanova Lucas, and Meropis Kollarou.
