Artist Diploma, Indiana University; BM, Rice University, Shepherd School of Music; MM, New England Conservatory of Music. Jing Li has performed around the world as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. She is Assistant Principal Cellist of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Rhode Island Philharmonic. She can also be heard performing with Boston Ballet, Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Monadnock Music, and A Far Cry Chamber Orchestra. Her teaching experience includes serving on the faculty at Nantucket Community Music Center, Indian Hill Music School, Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, and maintaining a private cello studio in Belmont, MA.
