Haeeun Shin

Early Childhood, Piano

Haeeun Shin teaches Dalcroze Eurhythmics and piano at Powers Music School, and she also serves as Coordinator of the Early Childhood Department. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in composition from Sungshin Women's University and a Master in Music Education degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. Haeeun received her Dalcroze Certificate and License from Longy School of Music, where she studied under Lisa Parker, Anne Farber, and Ruth Alperson. She is currently a PhD candidate in the field of music education at the Université Laval in Québec, under the advice of Louise Mathieu. In addition to Powers, Haeeun's teaching experience includes Longy School of Music, Community Music Center of Boston, Concord Conservatory of Music, and Project Step.
