Cello, Suzuki cello

Erica Klein teaches cello, Suzuki cello and ensembles at Powers Music School. Erica began playing the cello at age 7. At age 16, she began studying at the Manhattan School of Music, and subsequently earned her undergraduate degree in music from Brown University. Erica also holds two Masters degrees: a Masters in Music from Brandeis University and a Masters in Education from Boston University. Erica has completed the registered Suzuki Teacher Training in Books 1-3 and has been teaching privately for 15 years. Erica has played in numerous orchestras and chamber groups, including the Indian Hill and Granite State Symphonies. Previous teachers include Rajan Krishnaswami, Ron Lowry and George Neikrug. Erica believes that all students can find joy, discipline, and excellence in their study of music.
