Carol Hunt Epple

Flute

Carol Epple teaches flute at Powers Music School. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from Brown University and her Master of Music degree in flute from New England Conservatory. She studied modern flute with James Pappoutsakis, Karlheinz Zoeller, Maurice Sharp, and Albert Tipton; baroque flute with Frans Brueggen, Hans-Martin Linde, Shelley Gruskin, and Robert Willoughby; and classical flute with Christopher Krueger. Carol has performed with Boston Baroque, Cambridge Society for Early Music, Commonwealth Chamber Players, Handel and Haydn Society, Kammerwerke Chamber Orchestra, Young Audiences, the Monadnock and Castle Hill Festivals, among others. She has recorded with Titanic and, in addition to Powers, has taught at Longy School of Music and the Middlesex School, Concord.
